Miss sitarist Anoushka Shankar now 'would-be mom'

Did you know this?? The sitarist daughter of great sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar, Anoushka Shankar is expecting her first baby by spring next year with Joe Wright, London-based famous filmmaker.

Well... Who knew that Anoushka Shankar who confessed to TOI last year that she sees herself pregnant by 2014, would change her mind so very soon?? Now again... This is really-really shocking. Too fast, Right!!

Since December 2009, Anoushka began dating Joe. In an interview to DT at that time, she confessed about her relationship. Saying, "It's unexpected and it's gone really fast, but I'm fully in it." Then she also said then that it's not necessary to be married to have children. Are you serious, Anoushka or just escaping from the mistake you did??

At the same time, she also added, "I do believe in marriage, very much but I also don't believe it's the only route. Love and relationships have to be defined by the people who're in them." Ooooo!! Not bad Miss Anoushka.

After believing the reports, Anoushka answered to congratulatory messages by close ones saying, "We are so happy. It feels so ridiculous...I hope and pray everything goes well with this baby and ask for everyone's blessings." We too pray the same for you!!

A formal announcement would be made by Anoushka very soon. A call was made to Pandit Ravi Shankar in California, but it went unaswered to which Anoushka's manager said "It's no secret that Anoushka is seeing Joe. As and when there's something to share, we will."

Anoushka is also giving interviews about the "wonderful relationship" that she shares with Joe and the joy that she's getting from little things like tending to his house. Hope all goes well with the three of you Anoushka that is you yourself, your baby and Joe!!

Wedding Bells are far away from Katrina

The glamorous doll of B-town seems to completely focus on her career right now. The actress was recently witnessed walking on the ramp at the inaugural ceremony of the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) to showcase the Nakshatra bridal collection.

Oh! I just love jewellery, they happen so elegant and graceful. But why she wants to delay her marriage? Hey! Wait a second are you also thinking in the same direction like me? Is she planning to make it up again with Salman or wants to wait for her Mr. Right?

Well whatever reason Katrina has for delaying her marriage but she seems to be very excited about her D-day. During the Jewellery Week she said that as for now she has no plans to get married soon but for sure on the wedding day she would love to go green.

Green!!!!Ooohh! I guess there is something fishy. She has decided the color but not the guy she would marry, amazing! Well the color is really not that important, what holds the priority here is to know about Kat’s Prince Charming.

Till now everyone in the town was presuming that Katrina would tie knots with the handsome hunk Salman, but in the latest buzz Salman has given statements about their split. So as the Salman episode is all over for Kat, this sizzling Doll has lots of options open for her. And it would really be a great surprise to all her fans to know about her MR.RIGHT.

Earlier she had said that she plans to get married in 2012......Why 2012???? Ha! I think we all would really get to witness a D-day....the only difference being either it would be the wedding bells for her or.......you know what I mean.

Hello darling not a happy hello for the viewers

Who doesn’t love to laugh?? Everyone, right!! But when it comes to movie, all expect a complete package of entertainment and fun, nothing such that is mediocre and spoils the mood.

‘Hello Darling’ was also an effort to do so, but sorry to say, it did not succeed in doing so. The movie tried loads of trick to make people laugh but efforts proved to be failure except hardly one or two scenes.
Hello Darling is a complete compact of sexual innuendo with the presence of three bombarding bombs that is gorgeous Gul Panag, Celina Jaitley & Eesha Koppikar.

The movie is a shameless rip-off of the 1980 office comedy Nine to Five, about three harassed co-workers who also entertain their hot & sexy boss and the whole movie keeps roaming around the same theme.
Well Guys and Gals, do you know who the sexy boss is in this movie?? Yup… you are right he is our jolly Javed Jaffrey who stars as ‘Hardik’ in the movie.

His name is even mispronounced in the film to develop some cheap joke chortles and the three leading ladies are employed at a garments firm where they are routinely hit on by their oversexed superior, Javed Jaffrey. How cheap all this sounds!! Doesn’t it??

Moreover, Hello Darling may sound funny on paper but was completely childish and bizarre on the silver screen. We can say that this movie stands no where before Nine to Five; however it is a complete wastage of time & money.

So, don’t expect anything good out of this movie in terms of entertainment. But one thing you can expect is big thanks from the director who would surely thank you if you accompany the movie till the end inspite of leaving your seats in middle. That’s really tough, isn’t it??

Only the director, Manoj Tiwari knows what Hello Darling is all about, who did try to make you laugh but even took away the happiness you had while entering the cinema halls.

Uff!!!!! What I would now say is, if such remakes keep on worked upon the day is not far when there would be a ban on remakes too!

John relying on fate to fulfill his 'Aashayein'

The handsome hunk of B-town John is very enthusiastic about his upcoming flick Aashayein, which is the story of a compulsive gambler who discovers new meanings of fortune and life through a dramatic turn of events.

Sounds great! So John is playing a gambler in the movie, it would be interesting to see him playing with his luck. Interesting concept Nagesh!

Let us have a quick review of the movie and see if it really happens to be worth watching or the acclamations being bestowed on its special screening are just a hype created in the media.

The movie goes round Rahul Singh and the struggles he faces from living an insignificant life to a significant one. His life takes a turn when he comes to know that he would have only 90 days to live. This is the time when instead of losing all hopes or crying over the spilt milk Rahul decides to live life fully and accomplish all his goals.

Wow! It seems quite different and I must say that the movie is inspiring. You can call it a bittersweet fable that would make every viewer give a thought to evaluate the importance of life.

It indeed teaches us that life is all about living in present rather than spoiling the present in the worry of future.

The acclamations the movie has received so far prior to its release are really appreciable and this was something we call the Nagesh Kuknoor style. We would wish that the movie makes a difference in the thinking of every individual and comes out a big success at box office. Even this is about our Aashayein as well.

"Rakht Charitra" last day shot

I took the last shot of ‘Rakht Charitra’ yesterday. From the inception of the idea of wanting to make ‘Rakht Charitra’  till the point of me taking the last shot was an incredible journey for both my mind the way it started perceiving and understanding the research material and then also how it studied the minds of the various involved parties.

So a constant analysis and thereby a due course of me being psyched up by what kind of conclusive truths I have reached in various mental states of mine resulted in a situation that by the time I reached the last shot it made me truly believe that what I shot in Cinema is real and what happened in real was Cinema.

The characters who inspired me got mixed up with the characters I created and the same goes to the incidents.

Yes it’s true that my attempt was to stay close to the truth to the best of my limits and knowledge but like I said earlier, it’s truth as I know it and believe it but it’s not necessarily the absolute truth.

But what’s even more strange is that even the people involved in the actual incidents were confused when they saw some scenes as to what is true and what is not.

The reason for that is because they have seen the incident in person but never from a certain other person’s point of view.

So even though they knew the truth of what is being depicted in the film, now after seeing the film they came to know with much more clarity why certain things happened and how they happened which they probably never understood in their entirety at the time those incidents actually happened.

Coming back to the last shot, never in my career I felt such an exhilaration and a strange sense of a mixture of both a release and a relief through any film I have done so far in my career.

It’s not so much for the film but for the fact that I travelled all this time with each of all the various characters of ‘Rakht Charitra’ and their emotions and now I feel that with the last shot I have reached them to their destinations or atleast to their destinations as conceived and perceived by me.

More than the audience I am actually dying to see, know and feel the reactions of the real people from whom its characters are inspired from.

I feel this attempt of mine will be hugely worth while if they even think, feel, realize, and learn a little something from ‘Rakta Charitra’ about themselves and more importantly about their adversaries.

Salman Khan reel name is a smash hit

Salman Khan's character in the film Dabangg is known as Robin Hood Pandey, something which has already started to amuse the audience.

Salman, who is actively promoting the film, is playing upon the funny image that the character is generating.

The first look of his character was shown to the public at the IIFA awards held in Sri Lanka.

The audience there instantly took a liking to Salman, who was seen sporting a moustache and dancing in a unique manner on the title song.

Now, Salman is trying to highlight the name. According to debut director Abhinav Kashyap, it was Salman's idea to make the character hilarious yet powerful.

And it was his idea to suggest the name which is a unique combination of the legendary superhero and a local guy next door.

Abhinav said, "Salman wanted that the character's name to be such that it automatically generates interest among the audience and also sounds funny.

The name was popped up by Salman and when we heard it for the first time, we could not stop laughing."

Meet the contestants of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 3'

One of the most awaited reality shows of the year, Khatron Ke Khiladi  is back with the 3rd season on Colors.

Priyanka Chopra as the smoldering host in her grunge avatar has already raised the hot quotient of the show and to top it all the show has an eclectic mix of contestants.

After the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) restricted the cricketers from taking part in the show for safety reasons, the producers gathered 12 new contestants to fit the bill.

Here is a sneak preview of those contestants, who have decided to take on nerve wrenching tasks in order to emerge as the bravest of them all.

Gulshan Grover- After countless films that have bombed at the box office, Grover, 55, will now be seen grappling with real danger in Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. He claims to have trained for several weeks to lose the extra weight and perform the stunts.

Abhishek Kapoor- Popularly known as 'Gattu' in the film fraternity, Abhishek Kapoor the director of Rock On will be seen performing various stunts as well.

Aisha deleted, Sonam's lip Kissing scene

Sonam's kissing scene with Abhay Deol in Aisha has been deleted and she is not too happy about it.

Since it was the first kissing scene by Sonam, she was keen to have it in the film but it was edited due to technical reasons.

She said, "Due to some technical reason the scene has been deleted, there is no other reason for it.

It was shot aesthetically and I wanted it to appear on the screen." Sonam has always maintained a coy image; so it's good to see her opening up.

Rajini said ‘Endhiran’ will set new history in industry!

This year much anticipated flick ‘Endhiran’ starring super star Rajinikanth and Aishwarya in the lead is directed by ace director Shankar and produced by Kalanidhi Maran of Sun Pictures with a mega budget.

It has music by AR Rahman which was launched a couple of days before in a grand event in Kaula Lumpur in Malaysia.

Rajinikanth while speaking at the event says, “For the first time in India, a film has been produced at a colossal budget of 150 crores.

Whether ‘Endhiran’ will create history because of this or because it’s a collaboration of Shankar, Sun Pictures and Aishwarya Rai is not the question.

It will create history more because it is for the first time an Indian film production will be equal to a Hollywood film. That’s why I said this film is a historical landmark in Indian films. And Kalanidhi Maran is the reason for it.

Maybe in future, another film could be made on a bigger budget. But this sci-fi film is the first one in India. Another company was to first produce the film but had to back out due to certain reasons. After that, we met Kalanidhi Maran and Shankar told him the story.

Kalanidhi Maran said he had full trust in Shankar and wanted to know the estimated budget and how long it would take for him to complete the film. After Shankar’s response, Maran said he would revert in 4 days.

When we met him, he had the complete details of ‘Sivaji’ returns theatre wise that even the ‘Sivaji’ producer would not have had! That’s how practical he is!

Kalanidhi Maran said we would make ‘Endhiran’ a grander film. Whatever he does, he does with a difference and a grandeur that ensures success.

That’s why everyone from politicians to film stars would like to know Kalanidhi Maran completely. People wait endlessly to meet him.

Tamannaah said not answerable my rumours about Karthi!

South Indian milky beauty Tamannaah has been in the news for some time for the rumors buzz about her relation with her co star Karthi from the time they both acted together in ‘Paiyaa’ and pairing up for another new film.

The actress said that she is not at all worried about these rumors milling around her.
