Tees Maar Khan makers build airliner for Akki's action sequence

Akshay Kumar stunt atop a plane in Khiladi 420 years ago is still quite famous. Now, the actor is all set to do yet another action sequence in an airplane in Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan.

"We have constructed an actual Jumbo Jet at Film City for a very important sequence in Tees Maar Khan. The scene is Akshay's introductory shot in the film," said director Farah Khan.

"Akki, who plays a smart-alec, is being taken captive in the airplane and, how he outsmarts everyone and plans his escape forms the crux of the scene. He will be seen doing some really funny yet, deadly, action stunts in this particular scene. The scene also has VJ Mia along with her Chihuahua dog."

On being asked the cost of constructing a huge airplane, Farah said: "I can't reveal how much it exactly costs but yes, it did cost us a bomb. It's a beautiful Jumbo Jet with plush interiors. Our art director Sabu Cyril has done a fantastic job. In fact, if anyone wants to use a Jumbo Jet for a shoot they can contact me."

Saif hits back at Shiv Sena

After keeping quiet for sometime, Saif, now has decided to speak out fearlessly. He says, he never expected so many people to have such huge problems with his National Award achievement.

Saif says, “I deserve the National Award and I will try and keep up to it. May be there are more actors who are superbly experienced then me but if you look at the awardees over the last couple of years, all of them have not exactly invented a nuclear bomb.”

For all those who came in late, Shiv Sena, the Bishnois and many other personalities from different walks of life have opposed the Government for honoring Saif with Padma Shri. In fact, executive president of Shiv Sena Udhav Thackeray went to the extend of calling him a tapori who did not deserve an award of such stature.

Such harsh protests were likely to bring Saif at an awkward situation and ultimately he had to bring his defenses on the foreground to stand by his achievement. Saif had to have an outburst and anyways there has to be a limit to everything.
