Who scores better as Raavan Abhishek or Vikram?

That won't ring true for Junior Bachchan's next release Raavan! Abhishek is in competition with National Award-winning Tamil star Vikram here.

And that's because while Abhishek plays the lead role Beera in Mani Ratnam's Hindi Raavan, Vikram plays good guy Dev opposite him…In the Tamil version titled Raavanan, Vikram plays Beera, the role played by Abhishek.

"We have certain moods sometimes - when I was pensive in a shot, he was jovial maybe little bit or sometimes when say, I was aggressive he was low key.

Mani Sir didn't say anything. I did it my way and he did it his way."

And Vikram's weak point might be the fact that this is his debut Hindi film… he admits that the language is clearly not his strength.

"Jab Tamil dialogue haath me hota hai toh Hindi ke baare me nahi sochta tha aur jab Hindi dialogue haath me hota tha toh kuch bhi nahi sochta tha."

Whatever might be the outcome and whoever scores over the other, one thing is for sure, it's all gain for director Mani Ratnam and the film.
